30 Paintings in 30 Days ~ Six Days Later

"When you're experimenting,
you have to try so many things
before you choose what you want.
And you may go days,
getting nothing but exhaustion."
~ Fred Astaire

While compiling my Fifth 30 Paintings In 30 Days Collection, I did a lot of work that didn't make it onto the blog or into the collage. The two little paintings above were done last month along with "Like Words of Poems" from Day 19. A friend told me that it was her least favorite of the entire month. I told her that these pieces don't photograph very well because there is a lot of texture which I explained on 1/19. I think they look pretty cute as a framed set and I hate to break them up, so I will sell them to some lucky collector - all 3 framed and ready to hang or display on a table top or shelf for the price of 2 unframed!

I have been very busy experimenting and getting ready for my Alcohol Ink workshop this Saturday! It is filled but there are still some spots available for auditing.

Things have been really quiet online since the challenge ended. Almost zero action from the bloggie artists in the 30 in 30! LOL! I can relate. It feels so good to slow down in that department, but I thought I'd better throw a post up today before I loose my momentum entirely or I forgot how to do it!

I hope everyone is well and warm, getting caught up on non-arty stuff and happily creating at a slower, more comfortable pace.

Thanks so much for all your comments and camaraderie!
I miss you guys.
