Black is the color of West and the great unknown. It is the home of the future and of ancestor spirits. Crows and ravens are messengers from this realm. They offer us guidance and protection. When they come into your life, expect and accept change. Stay positive and good things will undoubtedly happen.

Raven Spirits

Raven has long been associated with magic and ancestor spirits. On my trip out to Colorado this month, crows and ravens seemed to follow me everywhere. According to indigenous traditions, all species of crow, including raven, help us to realign our consciousness so we may better connect to the Great Mystery. I tried to portray this energy in today's drawing.
