Life Is Growth

"Life is growth. If we stop growing,
technically and spiritually,
we are as good as dead."
~ Morihei Ueshiba

Life Is Growth

"Everything is blooming most recklessly;
if it were voices instead of colors,
there would be an unbelievable
shrieking into the heart of the night."
~ Rainer Maria Rilke

The Colors of Spring

"If we could see the miracle
of a single flower clearly,
our whole world would change."
 ~ Buddha

The Miracle of Spring

Tulips symbolize perfect love, new life and spiritual awareness.

Everyone in this area is so ready for winter to be over! More frigid, sloppy weather is on its way. It's chilly here today but at least the sun is shining. I've found comfort in painting and posting flowers on Facebook and Daily Paintworks over the past week. The cheerful colors seem to offer a soothing respite from the dreary grays of the season. I hope today's tulip perks you up too.

I am thinking of all my online buddies
and hoping you are having a colorful day!

Thanks for stopping by.

Nature's Garden Collection

"Be like the flower,
turn your face to the sun."
– Kahlil Gibran

Nature's Garden Collection
Watercolors on Yupo paper, varied sizes

I've made and shared several collages of my Yupo painting collections this year. I didn't know how to link them up to their feature page until I saw another artist do it this way. Each number links to a larger view and details about the corresponding piece.

The symbolism of the tulip is
affection, perfect love, new life
and spiritual awareness.

Although it looks and feels like spring weather left us a while ago, the first day  of summer isn't until next week, June 21st. As usual, Jerry has been busy filling up the yard with flowers and vegetable plants. Here are just a few shots of
Sandy Land this morning.

Please share my work with your friends.

Thanks  for visiting and have a great day!
