#15 of 30 - "Paintings Inspired by Quotes About Trees".

I made it to the half way point in the

Joni Mitchell has been one of my favorite
singer/song writers since the 70's.
I still love her music and know most of the lyrics too.
Today I painted to Blondie and Bruce Springsteen though,
'cause I needed something peppier to get me through this one.
I'm a little behind in my production, so I'm finishing up late tonight.
Well, it's not late (8:50 ish), but I haven't my had dinner yet
and I'm starving. I hope you like my Tree Museum.

Your feedback is most appreciated, thank you!

  1. I love your tree museum, what a great composition!

  2. One of my favorite Joni songs. Cute idea!

  3. Thanks for the feedback Carmella and Ann! I've got to revisit this piece and do some cleaning up and tweaking. That's one of the things I love about painting on Yupo paper is that you can always go back in (before you seal it with acrylic spray) and make adjustments.

  4. Great interpretation of the song. The gildy goldy frames are a nice touch.

  5. I like these gildy goldy frames as if the fancier frames would assuage the guilt of those who took all the trees.
