Sharing My Passion

"Whatever you're doing,
give it all you got, share your passion,
excitement and enthusiasm and
let your vibe and energy become
an inspiration to others."
~ Ricardo Housham
After Wednesday's detour and some equipment streamlining, I was back on track for Friday and Saturday's NYC "YIPPEE 4 YUPO" painting demonstrations at Dick Blick Art Stores, sponsored by Legion Paper. Each one just got better and better! One of the good things about Wednesday's trip, is when you start at the bottom, there's nowhere to go but up!

Friday, May 30th's presentation was at the Dick Blick Art Materials
Store at
650 6th Ave, where I made my NYC debut last August.

There was a lot of interest in what I was doing.
Many shoppers stopped and lingered.

And a half a dozen ladies stayed the whole two hours.

On Saturday, I was in the old historic section of NYC at 1-5 Bond Street.

The store was very impressive and I wished I had more time
so I could look around and do some shopping.

The people I have met have been so nice. We all had so much fun.

This group was really engaged. There were many thoughtful questions and lots of note taking. When it ended, nobody seemed to want to leave and everyone thanked me whole heartedly. Everyone agreed that they really enjoyed the event, were excited to try Yupo paper and had learned a lot. It felt awesome to share my passion and inspire people to learn, experiment and to try something new.

I am looking forward to doing more presentations. I will be going back on June 11th and will be at 536 Myrtle Avenue (from 4-6) in Brooklyn. And on June 12th (from1-3) I will be at 237 W. 23rd St. in NYC. You can see more about my "YIPPEE 4 YUPO" demonstrations here.
