Dream Hawk

“If you talk to the animals, they will talk with you
and you will know each other.
If you do not talk to them, you will not know them
and what you do not know, you will fear.
What one fears one destroys.”
~Chief Dan George

Dream Hawk

Do you remember your dreams?

Are they ever about animals?
If so, what animals come to you in the dreamtime
and what might their messages be?

Thanks for reading.
Follow your dreams and have a great day!

"An animal's eyes have the power to speak a great language."

  1. Dream Hawk is a really lovely painting. I love how you have him looking straight at us, I wonder what he was thinking!

  2. I feel a totally female presence in this Dream Hawk, well for me anyway...and she is communing to me a thank you for the love of her tribe and the trust of sending my prayers up with her, her wings seeming to envelope me in the warmth of her heart.

This is truly breathtaking Sandy...your colors are perfection in this piece and her eyes are very, very expressive. She is a long awaited communion of souls. Wow!

I have always loved Chief Dan George's quote...

If I could afford to buy this painting I surely, surely would!

  4. I try every night to tell myself, 3 times, to remember my dreams. It works and it gets better and better!! If I slip and stop reminding myself, I don't remember my dreams at all. I dream of animals sometimes, the last animal dream I had was of a bear. I often refer to a dream dictionary. Love the painting, such talent!

    1. What a wonderful idea! I will try it tonight. Last night I had cats turning into ferrets. Now I wonder what that was all about?! Thanks so much for your input and your kind words. Have a great day!

  5. I never have animals in my dreams, but if I do, I hope it's as beautiful and calming as this lovely painting!
